Lady Bird (2017)
Genre: Comedy, Drama

The plot is familiar and trivial. The whole movie revolves around the main line that the high school girl wants to leave the small city of California to go to school in New York, interspersed with the ups and downs of family, friendship and love on her way of growth. There are many plots that are commonly seen such as community, boyfriend, failure in love, first sex, college entrance examination, and the most old-school one, breaking up with best friends and then making up. But Lady Bird is refreshing because it captures the essence of youth.

Life is filled with ups and downs, but nothing can stop us from thinking about life and equality. Film is an expression of human nature. It causes resonance, arouses emotions, makes us self-examine and leads us to think. One director used to say, "After the invention of the film, human life has been extended at least three times."
