Microsoft's next-gen Xbox Series X console will arrive Nov. 10, and official campaigns are also ongoing.
One of them has turned out to be very impressive. As we all know, the first impression of the all-black tower-shaper Series X was such that the fans had started calling it a fridge. Well, Xbox proved in person that the size of it wasn’t as big as they thought. While Sony is still claiming “No, our console doesn’t look like a wifi router”, Xbox makes an actual Xbox Series X refrigerator! And popular YouTuber iJustine recently received this huge shipment from Microsoft.
As iJustine said, the volume of the frame and carton is so “massive” that they almost couldn’t get it through the garage door. The outer carton is also carefully marked with 1TB SSD, 120fps and other parameters, and logo.
The real comparison between the fridge and its origin:
Behind the fridge are various ports of the Xbox Series X, such as HDMI port, power interface, etc. All the design details of the console are also presented on this refrigerator.
They also found that the disc drive on the left was cleverly made into a handle. When powered on, the fridge turned on the Xbox logo, and when opened, it lit up with the Xbox's signature green glow and emitted the console's start-up sound. How come you cannot be amazed when all these happen?
Currently, only three fridges exist, with one being given to YouTuber iJustine and another to rapper Snoop Dogg. But what about the third fridge? According to iJustine, Microsoft will be holding a sweepstakes on Twitter at some point to give the fridge away to a member of the general public.
You can only imagine how much that’s going to go for on eBay…The Xbox Series X/S is scheduled to release on November 10.
