As the world's leading technology company, Samsung's business lines are much broader than we think. The product I'm testing today is the 870 EVO, a new product from Samsung's family of solid-state drives.
As an all-new member for 2021, the 870EVO inherits all the benefits of the previous generation 860EVO and has been fully upgraded with improved performance metrics, compatibility, and reliability. Technically, the 870 EVO features a new generation of flash particles and an all-new MKX master.
The release of this generation of products caters to content creators' needs, especially "We Media" professionals like me, who need to accumulate a large number of materials for a long time, which indirectly leads to my computer and hard disk memory shortage. The work of file transfer speed also directly affects my work efficiency. With powerful hardware support, my work efficiency is bound to be highly improved.
Unpacking part:
In terms of packaging design, the Samsung 870 EVO inherits its classic design style and adopts a calm technology atmosphere. At the same time, the primary information is revealed in the product rendering. You can get critical information about a product by looking at its packaging.
The Samsung 870 EVO series comes in multiple versions, including 250G, 500G, 1T, 2T, and 4T. Users can choose according to their own needs. For the storage of this issue, I believe that everyone's needs are different. The one in my hand is 250GB, which is more than enough for me.

I own a desktop computer and four laptops, as well as several portable hard drives. Software Testing:
The new 870 EVO is a significant performance upgrade, with a maximum continuous performance of 560MB/S, close to the theoretical maximum performance of the SATA interface. Smart TurbowRite improves product durability and writes space significantly. However, depending on the test environment, the results will vary.
In the CrystalDiskmark test, the Samsung 870 EVO recorded a continuous read speed of 549.9 Mb /S, with a maximum constant write speed of 487.7 Mb /S. There is a gap between this result and the official data, mainly because of my testing environment. But compared to similar products, the results are excellent.
Next, I switched to professional test software, ATTO, for a performance test. In this test, I could see that the 870 EVO's read and write speed changed. Compared to the previous software test, the results were a little better.
To verify this, I also found some test results online, which were better than my test environment, so the results were closer to the official data. Of course, the purpose of these tests is to give you a better understanding of the SSD to evaluate it thoroughly.
Conclusion:
This Samsung 870 EVO gives me the experience of improving work efficiency, which directly solves "We Media" professionals like me. With the 870 EVO, I was able to be lazy for a while, in contrast to the embarrassment of having to clear files regularly. High-speed reading and writing speed can also save my time, making me better, faster to complete the work.
