The AMD Zen3 architecture is already on the desktop, in gaming, in laptops, and in server data centers, in the third generation of the Galaxy 7003 series, codenamed Milan.

It continues with a small Chiplet chip design of up to eight CPU dies and one IO Die per processor, the former with an upgraded architecture but still at 7nm, and the latter with a completely unchanged architecture of 12nm, supporting eight channels of DDR4 memory and 256 PCIe 4.0 channels.

AMD has previously announced publicly that the Xiaolong 7003 series has been mass-produced and shipped to customers, and plans to be officially released in March. This will be the best single-core x86 processor globally, with the best business value in the cloud services space and advanced modern security features.

AMD claims that even the 32-core version of the new Xiaolong performs up to 68% better than the next-door 28-core Xeon 6258R.

Today, the exposure of Xiao Long 7003 series of complete models, specifications, a total of as many as 17 different models, and the first decoded Xiao Long number naming rules.

AMD Xiaolong processors are named four digits, plus an optional letter suffix.

The first number stays the same. It's both 7.

The second number represents the number of cores: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 respectively correspond to 8 seats, 16 cores, 24-28 cores, 32 cores, 40-56 cores, and 64 cores.

The third number represents performance: 1 for low frequency and low power consumption, 4/6 for high performance, and F for the most robust single-core performance (high frequency).

The fourth number represents the product generation: 1 for the first generation Naples, 2 for the second generation Rome, and 3 for the third generation Milan.

Alphabetic suffix: double no, single with a P. Xiaolong 7003 series currently known 17 models, including 13 double-way, single-way 4, the specifications of the single-way model and the corresponding double-way model are entirely the same, but do not support two parallel.

This time, there are three models of 64-core, one model of 48-core, four models of 32-core, four models of 24-core, four models of 16-core, and one model of 8-core. The benchmark frequency ranges from 2.0-3.7GHz (the fewer the cores, the higher), the acceleration frequency ranges from 3.5-4.1GHz, and the thermal design power consumption ranges from 155-280W.

The flagship model is the Xiaolong 7763,64 core 128 threads, three-level cache 256MB, main frequency 2.45-3.5GHz, thermal design power consumption 280W.

Compared to the second-generation flagship Xiaolong 7742, the number of core threads, the three-level cache have not changed (of course, the three-level store is unified in each Die), the reference frequency is the same, the acceleration frequency is 100MHz higher, and the thermal design power consumption is 55W higher. After all, the manufacturing process is still 7nm.

The highest acceleration frequency is eight-core Xiaolong 72F3, which reaches 4.1GHz. The benchmark is also the highest at 3.7GHz. There is still a 256MB Level 3 cache, and the thermal design power consumption is 180W.

The Xiaolong 7313/7313P with the lowest thermal design power consumption is only 155W, but it has 16 cores, and the central frequency is 3.0-3.7GHz.

Level 3 cache 32/48/64 core and 7XF3 series are 256MB, another unified half 128MB.
