Our daily routine and lifestyle have been gradually changing all the time along with the development of science and technology. This year, the pandemic has further accelerated the changing speed. Shortly before, it may be strange to try to cycle in virtual world, but now, it may be one of your daily exercises.
Blync provides a new riding solution that uses VR to allow cyclists to venture across various terrains in the comfort of their own home. You won’t have to cancel your cycling plan due to the bad weather. Cycling at any time of the day or any season of the year is no longer just a daydream!
The Blync device consists of a path sensor and a speed sensor. While other virtual bikes mainly control where you go on the virtual world while you pedal, Blync's path sensor allows you to turn and control where you want to go.
Blync also tracks your fitness activities such as calories burnt, average riding power and average speed.
You can also build your own environment for riding and cruise or race with your friends over the network.
One of the main issues people experience (especially for newcomers to VR) is feeling dizzy during motion. Blync has taken this into consideration and allows you to toggle between first- and third-person mode to help minimize or eliminate dizziness.
Blync currently supports these three devices. You can also experience the novelty of virtual riding with your computer screen or laptop, so it doesn’t matter if you have none of them.
Blync package contains the Path Sensor, the Speed sensor and access to the App with all the environments that you can bike in. (no new bikes, of course)
You just need to place your bike's front wheel on the Path Sensor, strap the speed sensor at your back wheel's hub and you are done with the setup. Your back wheel needs to be secured on a bike trainer.
Blync offers equipment for children as well!
Enjoy the ride from the comfort of your living room with your kids. You will be safe and sound.
