After the invention of smart phones, numerous image processing apps have sprung up. Several have become the daily-opened apps on users' mobile phones, such as Instagram, which put focus on social interaction; VSCO, which provides powerful filters; Facetune puts emphasis on facial details optimization and Beauty Plus highlights its selfie retouching.
Now the celebrated Adobe takes part in the competition. With many years of Photoshop operation and R & D experience, Adobe has developed an app called Photoshop Camera, trying to get a piece of the image processing app market.
What’s the difference between Photoshop Camera and other image processing apps?
According to Adobe, Photoshop Camera uses a lot of AI, which helps retouch pictures and create various styles. At present, many image processing software on the market use algorithm to edit the image, such as Tilt-shift, Blur and Depth of Field. These techniques are all using algorithm. Does AI retouching do a better job?
How many Lens does Photoshop Camera have?
Photoshop Camera has 9 sets of Lens by default; each includes 3 to 8 different effects. Other Lens from featured artist can be added manually from Lens Library. Tons of effects are available. People who like image processing will cheer, while others may have difficulty in choosing.
In Lens Library, there is a Lens, "BILLIE EILISH WINGS", which is able to add a pair of wings to the main character in the picture. Here Elsa is going to walk through some impressive Lens.
Blue Skies
As the name suggests, it automatically optimize the sky in pictures. Apart from six static filters, there is also a dynamic cloud filter.
Pop Art
In this set, there are five filters available. This is one of them. Really the cat is making a “Whaaat” face.
Reverie
It amazes me. All five effects in this set of Len are dynamic. I choose a picture from Animal Crossing to try.
It’s very significant to see the after-processing effect except that the sheep hood is erased. Otherwise it would be a perfect picture.
Spectrum
Spectrum combines the sense of art and technology. All five effects are marvellous. When you apply the Spectrum filter to a common picture, it will yield unexpected effect.
Currently, the software only works on iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and OnePlus. If you are an artist, you can contact Adobe through the app to upload your collection, and provide special Lens named by you.
One more thing, do feel free to tell me if you find fun apps or if your turnip is at a high price.
