January 26 - Finally, the world's first new flagship phone with Snapdragon 870 core -- Motorola Edge S will be officially unveiled tonight.
This morning, Motorola announced the highlights of tonight's Edge S launch event, as well as the first official photo of the Motorola Edge S.
The machine's back design is straightforward, except for the classic Logo of Motorola on the back cover without any other decorative Logo, the rear matrix four-camera module with different colors of lens protection ring, so that the machine looks very recognizable from the back.
Motorola Edge S will be the world's first to carry the Snapdragon 870 chip on the core configuration.
As the Snapdragon 865++ version, the Snapdragon 870 has an Adreno 650 GPU design with one large core, three mid-core, four small core CPUs, and a 7nm manufacturing process.
It is reported that the central frequency of the big core is as high as 3.2GHz, which is 100MHz higher than the Snapdragon 865+ and 360MHz more elevated than the Snapdragon 865. The overall performance is better.
The Edge S will be powered by Turbo LPDDR5 and Turbo UFS 3.1 flash memory technology, Motorola said.
According to sources, the Motorola Edge S will have a 6.7-inch 1080P dual-burrow display, a 105Hz refresh rate, and a 5,000mAh battery.
The machine's front uses a 16-megapixel dual camera in terms of camera, rear 64-megapixel primary camera.
It should be noted that it has been revealed that the machine uses a three-shot scheme; that is to say, one lens is just an ornament, the specifications are respectively 64-megapixel primary camera +16 megapixel ultra-wide Angle +2 megapixel depth of field.
